The Desford range takes pride of place in the plaza outside the Translation and Innovation Hub (I-HUB) at Imperial College, London.
Part of the White City Campus, the site brings together scientific researchers, corporate partners, entrepreneurs and members of the community in a ‘ThinkSpace’.
The 23-acre campus also includes accommodation for post graduate students and a flagship residential tower providing affordable accommodation for Imperial College’s key workers.
The £3 billion development aims to give academics and students a place to collaborate with businesses and investors, forming an intellectual and creative powerhouse in West London.
The north part of the campus is focused on health and wellbeing and the I-HUB is the site’s flagship building.
Seating supplied by Broxap Street Furniture can be found outside the I-HUB entrance, close to the site’s Benugo café.
It includes six Desford I steel and timber benches, matched with six Desford Tables and six Desford Benches with Backrests.
The range features FSC-certified Iroko timber slats and a galvanised frame, polyester powder coated in Metallic Grey.
The seating helps to make the most of the outdoor areas at the integrated and collaborative campus, offering a range of places for different teams to co-exist.
