Several gate-making customers requested alternative options, so Letterbox4you set to work designing a larger letter plate with detailing. Inspired by heritage designs, the Nero Cast Aluminium Black Letter Plate provides a stylish finishing touch to the boundary gates of period properties.

Nero letter plate incorporates a protruding canopy, designed to prevent water ingress whilst maximising postage space. A4 envelopes can be posted without bending.

The Nero Letter Plate is sold as a stand-alone item, however, on the reverse side is a rectangle which is the perfect size to slot over our W3-2 Gate Mounted Post Box. With a locked, spacious hold and rear access, this is a secure, practical, and popular mailbox option.

Manufactured in Europe, this powder-coated, cast aluminium product is designed to last. It is resilient to the British weather and will not fade, peel or rust. Letterbox4you offers a 2-year warranty on both the post box and letter plate.

The post box and letter plate are not fixed together, both components need to be fastened to the gate. Letterbox4you also recommends sealing the upper and side joins of the letter plate to ensure water resistance.
