Jaymart worked closely with the interior designer involved in the head office for Conde Nast – publishers of Vogue, Vanity Fair and GQ magazine.
The remit called for an entrance mat that could cope with continuous traffic passing over it from a busy street.
With the internal floor finishes being a high end terrazzo, the main concern was to remove as much moisture as possible to reduce the risk of slips, trips and falls.
The matwell was already an exisiting one, so the matting could not be extended to help retain moisture and dirt.
Anodised Black Grime Dirtcheck
Jaymart’s Heavy Duty Grime Dirtcheck was the product of choice, with its excellent absorption of around 5 litres per m2.
The aluminium scrapers trap the moisture into the super absorbent Dirtcheck, reducing dirt and moisture entering the building by around 80-90%.
The client and designer also specified a contemporary appearance, and so selected the Grime Dirtcheck with anodised black finish.
By using Jaymart’s Grime Dirtcheck, the client was able to reduce the risk of slips, trips and falls on entering the building. It also helped to reduce cleaning costs and the use of harmful cleaning chemicals whilst raising the prestige of this high end office building.
