Klober’s Wallint® 50 Air Barrier and Solar-Line® airtightness accessories have been specified for a £3.5M scheme in Bournemouth which provides provide dedicated specialist housing for those with dementia.

The residential wing was designed to Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 and the non-residential area to achieve a BREEAM 'Very Good' rating.

Phil Goffin of architects Brown Smith Baker explained, “We wanted an air barrier which would exceed the minimum British Standard vapour resistance of 250 MN/sg and Wallint 50 met this requirement perfectly. It was installed on the warm side of rafters behind plaster stops in conjunction with Klober Pasto Sealant and Permo TR Tape. Pipe work penetrations through the roof were also sealed using their Solar-Line® Sealing Collar”.
