Kommerling Vertical Sliding Sash Windows
Profine
Kömmerling Vertical Sliding Sash Windows have been designed to capture the look of traditional timber sash windows; providing a perfect solution to today’s demands on increased energy efficiency and longer life performance.
The PVCu windows have been created to include countless authentic characteristics, harmonising the benefits of these features to be applied to any existing extension or refit project, as well as being an ideal heritage application for modern, new build projects.
Combining modern technologies, the Kömmerling Sliding Sash Window deals with lower-maintenance, higher-security and unique design features compared to its timber rival:
• Quick release tilting hinge arms provide the option to remove the pre-glazed top and bottom sash windows, reducing the carrying weight of the windows for installation.
• Fusion welded corners on foiled/coloured windows create a clean appearance across of the windows surface
• Colour foiled accessories for use on the run through sash horn, cill and stop end caps create a true authentic presence.
• The Secure by Design option conveys an overall higher level of protection against attempted burglary.
• Strong and tested spiral balances provide weight lifting of up to 18kg per sash, and allow for the Kömmerling Sliding Sash Window to offer a 10 year mechanical guarantee.
• Mechanically jointed 100mm deep bottom rails deliver the appearance of a true traditional Georgian/Victorian original window.
The Kömmerling Sliding Sash windows provide great access to allow easy cleaning with a upper and lower sash tilt function and achieve a standard U-value rate of 1.2W/m2K on many window sizes.
A range of styles are available including arched, Georgian, bays and coupled windows, and window sizes ranges from 350mm width up to 1500mm and 780mm height to 2500mm.
Colour, texture, hardware and glass are all optional on the Kömmerling Vertical Sliding Sash Window along with a large range of accessories, including: cills, Georgian and Astragal bars, run through horns, trickle vents and glass spacer bars.
