Reynaers Aluminium premium sliding door system CP 155 just got even better with enhanced, high insulation performance achieving the Swiss Minergie® Modul, confirming its suitability for use on low energy buildings.

Facilitating unrestricted views the system quickly and efficiently opens up an internal space to blend seamlessly with the outside, maximising space.

The upgrade of the system means it can achieve significantly improved insulation levels down to a Uf value of 1.07 W/m²K. This, in turn, provides a complete glazed element where the insulation values offered are as low as Uw 1.0 W/m²K. As a result, Reynaers CP 155-LS/HI is certified with a Minergie® label promoting its suitability as a product for use on low energy buildings, whether they are new build or a renovated building envelope.

Reynaers ongoing product development programme enables the system to boast a market leading water tightness capability of 1350 Pa, making it particularly suitable for exposed, high rise applications where weather performance is especially critical. It has a high resistance to wind loads, Class C4, and air permeability Class 4, along with excellent acoustic performance up to 50 dB. All tests were carried out by independent testing and certification institute, SKG of the Netherlands, in full accordance with the relevant BS and ISO standards.

Offering a range of mono, duo and three rail options, the premium sliding system allows complete design freedom and uses stainless steel rails for ease of operation and extended, trouble-free operational life.

It has the ability to accommodate extremely large dimensions of up to 3 metres in height and a maximum vent weight of 400 kg on the motorised version. A low threshold version is available for improved accessibility to buildings.

In order to achieve the Minergie® standard buildings have to achieve a sustainable, high-grade envelope that is energy efficient and maintains a continuous renewal of air. In general, such buildings consume around 60% less energy than conventional buildings. Building products as well as service can also achieve the Minergie® standard, such as Reynaers sliding door system CP 155-LS/HI and window and door systems CS 77 and CS 86-HV.
