IKO Polymeric has provided its Armourplan membrane as part of a green roof installation at Illustrious House in Portsmouth. The new development aims to provide modern accommodation with 5 floors and 16 spacious apartments including 5 balconies and 6 Juliets.

The main roof area was completed by installing a green roof overlooking a spectacular panorama of Portsmouth. IKO Polymeric’s Armourplan membrane was used as the waterproofing below the green roof. Pre-installed sedum filled units were chosen to speed up the installation of the green roof, with the units simply laid on the roof and clipped together.

Latchmore Roofing also specified premium PVC membrane Armourplan P for the upstands to provide better durability; and therefore extended guarantees.
