Novum played a key role in the redevelopment of Motherwell Station, helping to create a more welcoming and efficient gateway to the Glasgow City Region. The project comprised the engineering, fabrication, supply and installation of the station entrance canopy, façade and rooflight, delivered as part of the wider station transformation.

In addition to the primary glazing and structural works, Novum was responsible for the construction of the shopfront and entrance doors, as well as the distinctive glass box structure located on the platform. Together, these elements contribute to a modern and visually striking passenger environment.

The project utilised a combination of Novum's specialist systems, including Architecturally Exposed Steel, Block Knoten, Edge Clamped Glass, Point Supported Glass and Glass-to-Glass solutions. Working in harmony, these systems delivered a high-quality architectural finish while meeting the functional demands of a busy transport hub.
