Artform Urban Furniture supplied its award winning Multiplicity seating for the Nine Elms Point project in London. Nine Elms Point is a large housing scheme providing 1, 2, 3 & 4 bedroom apartments and penthouses across seven buildings.
Zone 1 of the project offers a vast green space of landscaped gardens for residents that will enhance the community feel, including a woodland area and two rills leading to a waterfall pond, as well as many walkways and green spaces.
Artform's involvement in the project started with the initial consultation regarding the supply of standard products to the residential area but with a bespoke feel. Artform provided expert knowledge in suggesting a product that was sympathetic to the soft landscaping within the scheme but with a designer feel. The award winning Multiplicity seating, with its cast aluminium support structure was suggested, as this could allow for a selection of alternate timber to be used, giving the client flexibility and confidence that it would blend with the landscape.
In the case of this particular project, European Oak was suggested as a complementary timber choice for the seating, to lend continuity to the scheme, which included Silver Birch, for other elements of the timber selection.
