As part of the refurbishment of this 1970’s building, Bolton Gate were specified to provide a hybrid grille / shutter to the loading bay.

In addition to providing vehicular entry / egress with the requisite ventilation for such an application, matching side panels were required with integral hinged doors to allow personnel access and provide emergency exits.

A special bottom rail was deigned to cope with the sloping floor level and intermediate posts were designed and installed to support the side guides and panels.

The grille / shutter operates via a keypad outside, loop detectors inside and photocells / safety edge were provided to meet Health & Safety requirements.

The whole assembly was powder coated brown in keeping with the surrounding structure.
