This exclusive beachfront resort required a refreshed new look to its glass-fronted restaurant. Expona Commercial PUR from Polyflor met the hotel’s design brief, accentuating its existing internal decoration whilst complementing the glorious surroundings admired by diners.
Visitors to The Palace Balneo & Spa Hotel enjoy an exquisite five-star experience. The much-loved retreat lies on the coast of Varna, Bulgaria, within the popular Sunny Day Resort, which boasts a magnificent nature park as its backdrop.
The ground-floor restaurant consists of several spacious halls and a terrace which offers breathtaking views of the Black Sea. Experienced chefs prepare a daily menu of stylish cuisines for guests using high-quality, seasonal products.
When this distinctive dining space required renovation, Emil Kolev, the General Manager who leads on-site operations, was responsible for the interior design decision-making.
In overseeing the restaurant renovation, Kolev sought to refresh its appearance, replacing the existing carpets with alternative flooring that would be easy to maintain and hard-wearing while providing a homely aesthetic. After much consideration, he chose Provence Oak Prisma (4119) for its style, elegance, and durability.
Kod M EOOD completed the professional installation under the management of Mihail Kodov, who recommended luxury vinyl tile from Polyflor’s Expona Commercial PUR collection to Kolev during their initial consultation. Alongside two colleagues who had also previously worked with Polyflor products, Kodov completed the job within four days.
“By following Polyflor’s recommendations for installation, we experienced no complications during this project and found the final impact to be very impressive,” he commented.
Upon completion, the restaurant showcases exceptional flooring from Polyflor, which immediately draws attention whilst simultaneously elevating the divine mural displayed on the ornate ceiling above.
“We are pleased with the results and how Expona Commercial PUR has given our restaurant a new lease of life,” said Kolev.
"The Provence Oak Prisma is an elegant shade with a contemporary design twist. Our restaurant flooring receives many positive comments from guests. It has undoubtedly helped to revitalise the room, enhancing their dining experience.
