Dröm UK has once again designed, supplied and installed a bespoke sauna and steam room for Danesfield Homes; this time in an impressive 13,000 sq ft home in Englefield Green, Surrey.

The sauna and steam room are situated within the leisure complex adjacent to the house. The frameless glass doors and full glass frontage ensure a feeling of space and a perfect view over the pool and beautifully landscaped grounds beyond.

Dröm UK worked closely with Danesfield Homes to develop the sauna and steam room and choose appropriate finishes to ensure that they blend in to form an integral part of the pool house design. Measuring 2.4 x 2.2m, the sauna walls are lined with narrow profile aspen wood. The same timber forms both the high and low level benches, together with the back rests which incorporate low voltage lighting to create an inviting and relaxing ambience. Both the powerful heater and the lighting are digitally controlled.

Within the 2.2m square steam room, large format porcelain tiles line the walls and ceiling while Crema Marfil tumbled mosaic provides a stylish finish to the elegantly contoured benches. Digital control systems allow adjustment of the two steam outlets and the LED lighting in the ceiling to create an ideal bathing environment.
