A high water table and a sandy soil site near the Yamuna River led engineers working on the new landmark Delhi One development in Noida to specify a high performance waterproofing membrane that would protect the substructure from groundwater. Grace Construction Products’ Preprufe® proved ideal, offering outstanding watertightness, proven performance and a simple application process.

Located 20 miles from Delhi, the massive new development features nine mixed use towers which comprise offices, shops, apartments and a hotel. In order to overcome the challenging site conditions as well as waterproofing around pile penetrations and diaphragm walls, the high-strength and fully bonded waterproofing system Preprufe 300R successfully met every construction challenge.

Whilst preventing water penetration and migration around the foundations, it will also ensure the basements are kept completely dry. With a Grace certified applicator appointed to install the Preprufe® application, the landmark development will be kept watertight for many years to come.
