Unlike well-known VRF systems, VMF concept has only 1 internal unit and that is IHU, where the cool/heat of the refrigerant is being transferred into water and then transported to all internal units via highly efficient and energy saving water recirculation pumps with low PI. That makes all rooms- Refrigerant Free!

On the hand the refrigerant quantity of VMF is significantly lower than the traditional VRF's.

And on the top of that Damvent have managed to perform Refrigerant “Backdraft/Pumpdown” mode. When VMF is off, the whole refrigerant quantity in IHU and the pipes Is sucked back to VMF. That way, when the unit is off, the whole refrigerant quantity stays in the unit, outside the building.
