Cotswold

Cotswold are a highly detailed slate resembling indigenous Cotswold natural stone. Readily available, highly acceptable reconstructed stone alternative to natural stone slates. Supplied in a full but rationalised range of diminishing lengths and random widths for an authentic appearance. Suitable for roofs down to a minimum pitch of 30°. The Cotswold range consists of main slates, under ridge and eaves slates with matching accessories including ridge, hip and ventilation units. The slates’ ease of laying and ready availability reduces time and costs associated with second-hand material. The slates are twice holed to facilitate nailing where appropriate. Slates 1 to 28 are nibbed to ensure speed of laying under eaves (29) to be nailed and under ridge (30-33) hung by nails on last course.

Old Quarried

Readily available, highly acceptable reconstructed stone alternative to natural stone slates. Simple range of diminishing courses and random widths which give the finished roof the heavy stone appearance. Available in unique Lichen Green shade for heritage and conservation areas. Reduced erection and timber costs compared with original natural stone material. Slates are thrice holed and are hung using metal pegs or clout nails. Suitable for roofs down to a minimum pitch of 25°. Old Quarried range consists of main slates, under ridge and eaves slates with matching accessories including ridge, hip and ventilation units.

Crofters

A single size, stone-effect roofing slate that is economically priced and simple to lay. Readily available, highly acceptable reconstructed stone alternative to natural stone slates. One size main slate for total simplicity. The slates’ ease of laying and ready availability reduce time and costs associated with second-hand material. Slates have 2 holes and are hung using metal pegs or clout nails. Suitable for roofs down to a minimum pitch of 25°. Crofters range consists of main slates, half slates, under ridge and eaves slates with matching accessories including ridge, hip and ventilation units.

Azul Slate

Azul Slate has been hand selected from Spain for its minimal grading requirements and superb aesthetic appeal. Readily available, highly attractive natural slate. Split by hand and hand finished to produce excellent aesthetics. One size available, 500 x 250mm plus slate and a half. Full width units with pre-drilled nailing holes (2No). Suitable for roofs down to a minimum pitch of: 25° moderate exposure (500 x 250mm) and 30° severe exposure (500 x 250mm) with nominal thickness 5-6mm.
