ROOM97, a premium hairdressing brand renowned for its cutting-edge style and luxury experience, sought to create a salon environment that perfectly balances functionality, sophistication, and durability. The design brief required materials that could deliver a seamless, elegant look while withstanding the demands of a busy commercial salon.

Design Vision

The design team envisioned a sleek, modern interior featuring bold contrasts: monochromatic tones, illuminated mirrors, and refined finishes. At the heart of this vision was the choice of Hanex® Venato Marble Stella, a solid surface that combines timeless marble aesthetics with the practicality of an advanced acrylic material.

Material Selection: Hanex® Venato Marble Stella

The Venato Marble Stella was chosen for its:

• Classic Marble Veining – delivering a high-end, natural stone appearance.
• Consistency & Seamlessness – ideal for large-scale counters and reception desks without visible joints.
• Durability – resisting stains, scratches, and water damage; perfect for heavy daily use in salons.
• Ease of Maintenance – maintaining a fresh, polished look with minimal upkeep.

Key Applications

1. Reception Desk:
The focal point of the salon entrance, the desk exudes a luxurious marble look while offering a smooth, hygienic surface for staff and guests.

2. Styling Stations:
A striking 12-metre continuous Hanex® counter was fabricated to accommodate the stylist chairs and backlit circular mirrors. The seamless installation delivers a clean, uninterrupted line that enhances the sense of space and light.

3. Functional Durability:
The surface withstands constant contact with hair products, water, and tools, ensuring long-term performance without compromising style.

Aesthetic Impact

The combination of the Venato Marble Stella counters with matte black chairs, illuminated mirrors, and dark ceilings created a dramatic yet welcoming ambiance. The subtle marble veining adds depth and texture, complementing the monochrome palette and elevating the salon’s premium feel.
