Terracing at an apartment complex in Birmingham has been restored to its former glory with Sadolin Classic.
Its location, on the rooftop of a multi-storey carpark, leaves the terrace exposed to varying weather conditions and Optima Community Association - part of WM Housing Group – called on Crown Paints Specification Services to find a solution to preserve and protect the space.

Following a site visit, Sadolin Classic was specified for the project. A highly versatile woodstain ideal for decking, cladding and fencing, the product absorbs deep into the timber providing exceptional protection against the elements.

Paul Bowkett, Surveyor at Optima Community Association, has overseen the project. He said: “The restoration has taken no time at all and has gone really well. “We’re more than happy with the product and the fact that the decking will be protected for a longer period of time."
