A new build house in the Suffolk countryside has products from the Mumford & Wood Conservation Range specified in its construction. Sash and Casement windows painted in a shade of off-white, with the entrance doors and Garden Room in Red Grandis Oak form important elements of the overall design.
The plot on which the house is built already had planning permission, but the new owners wanted to construct a house with a vernacular character that sat more comfortably within the site than the already approved plan.
After visiting the Essex showroom of Mumford & Wood, the owners decided that their conservation range would be the correct choice for the project. The owners commented that the property takes in a mixture of external and internal finishes. The elegant sliding sash windows in conjunction with the simple casement windows, alongside the hardwood entrance doors and garden room, have a contrasting yet timeless appeal which is reflected in the overall build quality.
