Pioneering process

RIVULETTA® is made by the tried and tested Fourcault process, the first fully mechanised method for continual manufacture of sheet glass introduced in 1914. Yet SCHOTT’s future-facing expertise and cutting-edge plant ensures this is glass for the 21st century.

SCHOTT’s structured decorative glass is subject to the European Technical Assessment (ETA) and this approval ensures that it can be processed and labelled as standard construction products such as toughened safety glass (TSG), laminated safety glass (LSG) and multi-pane insulating glass units (IGU). This further processing transforms standard decorative glass into design objects which can be used in sophisticated interior spaces, or as expressive architectural feature for countless design ideas.
