Securing a High-Risk Property on Fleet Street

Securing a High-Risk Property on Fleet Street

A property on Fleet Street, frequently targeted for politically motivated vandalism, required a robust security solution. Bramah was chosen to provide enhanced protection for the building’s two entrance doors, addressing both security vulnerabilities and installation challenges.

To fortify the entrances, Bramah installed patented and key-registerable rim cylinders, paired with Bramah London Door Pulls. These were complemented by two deadlocks, each reinforced with Bramah Kickstop Lockguards of varying sizes. These Lockguards served a dual purpose: not only did they enhance security by preventing the mortice lock from being forced out of its pocket during an attack, but they also functioned as decorative and hole-covering units.

Further strengthening the doors, Bramah Kickstop London and Birmingham Bars were fitted to provide additional resistance against forced entry. This comprehensive security setup ensured that, in the event of an attempted break-in, the alarm systems could effectively alert for assistance without immediate compromise.

All products used in this installation were designed, manufactured, and distributed by Bramah, offering a trusted solution for both installers and property owners. For sourcing, Bramah Direct or preferred wholesalers are available.
