Surrounded by picturesque rural landscape, a beautiful self-built family home in Yorkshire has been injected with a new lease of life with the addition of aluminium doors and windows from Reynaers.

Originally fitted with timber frames when constructed by its current owners in 2006, the windows and doors were in need of replacement to rejuvenate the building’s aesthetics and perfectly frame its surrounding views.

Tasked with fabricating and installing the windows and doors, Vista Frames supported the homeowners in selecting solutions which would bring new features to their home.

Alongside the striking visual appearance, the unique design of the frames makes for excellent performance characteristics, meeting the highest requirements when it comes to insulation, stability and safety, while perfectly framing views across the garden.

Elsewhere, aluminium windows have improved day-to-day usability, with sliding opening options reducing draughts and improving ventilation.

The homeowners added: “We’re extremely pleased with the results of these windows and doors. We chose a grey finish for our frames which has only added to the character our home, while their design and functionality has completely changed how we use different rooms throughout the house, making every room brighter and giving us easy access onto the garden.”
