Summit Sky Ranch is a devel­op­ing com­mu­nity of 240 single-family homes located in the Blue River Valley, 2 miles north of Sil­ver­thorne, Col­orado. The goal of the com­mu­nity devel­op­ers is to create homes with clean lines that meet organic shapes, allow­ing the archi­tec­ture to fit in with the land­scape rather than alter­ing the land­scape for the archi­tec­ture. Owners are able to con­nect with nature with active moun­tain lifestyles.

The Selux Inula Bol­lard was chosen for the Aspen House at Summit Sky Ranch due to its sophis­ti­cated, clean lines, com­ple­ment­ing the design lan­guage of the com­mu­nity. With no up light, the IDA Approved ​“Dark Sky Friendly” Inula is an envi­ron­men­tally con­scious light­ing fix­ture, keep­ing light on the paths rather than in the sky. Com­bin­ing full four-quad­rant light engines with others depend­ing on the need and loca­tion, allowed dif­fer­ent light­ing pat­terns to be achieved on forest path­ways and park­ing areas.
