VorTech is a swirling, gentle vortex abrasive system designed for the removal of soilings and coatings.

Derived from the original JOS method, it incorporates an advanced remote control adjustment during operation which, coupled with dial gauges, gives superior visual monitoring of equipment settings. This allows a high degree of control and fineness of adjustment to provide precise metering of selected abrasives into a flow of compressed air.

Remote controls enable air pressure, abrasive concentration and amount of water addition to be adjusted, giving effective use of water and reducing granulate wastage. It allows specifiers to easily replicate evaluation test panels by detailing in specifications/ method statements desired pressure settings of earlier trial panels.

Operators then use this system within the specified setting range by observation of the system’s gauge indicators to match and maintain the same standard throughout a project, even by different operators.
