Why more and more professionals are turning to Spray to get results on interior walls and ceilings

The last few years haven’t been kind to painting contractors. A perfect storm of Brexit and the pandemic has seen prices soar and construction jobs postponed.

It means contractors have had to become more efficient in the way they work. So it’s perhaps no surprise that more and more professionals are turning to Spray as their first-choice application technique.

Paint spraying walls offers several benefits to both contractors and their clients alike. For the contractor it means getting the job done faster, freeing up time to focus on other aspects of the project.

The time saved is good news for the client too, because it means the areas of the building being painted are not out of action for too long. Plus, there’s less wasted paint with Spray, which helps to keep costs down on both sides.

4 Dulux Trade products that can be sprayed

Dulux Trade offers many paints that are ideal for use with a wall paint spray gun. Here’s 4 that are suitable for paint spraying interior walls and ceilings:

Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt
This durable, water-based emulsion is easy to apply and offers a quality finish with high opacity. Coverage up to 17m² per litre.

Dulux Trade Diamond Matt
Scrub, scuff and stain-resistant, Dulux Trade Diamond Matt offers ultimate durability and a smooth matt finish that’s cleanable, too. Formulated with anti-fade technology it’ll keep its colour for years.

Dulux Trade Scuffshield Matt
Perfect for use in high traffic environments – like schools and hospitals, for example – Dulux Trade Scuffshield Matt offers the ultimate in scuff resistance.
Not only will it withstand scrubbing and staining, but it’ll also stop scuffs from sticking to the paint surface.

Dulux Trade Airsure Range (Vinyl Matt and Diamond Matt)
The Dulux Trade Airsure range is 99.9% VOC Free*, to minimise the impact on indoor air quality. This makes it perfect for contractors with specific sustainability objectives.

BREEAM NC and 2018 and LEEDv4.1 complaint, it contributes towards satisfying Feature X06 (VOC restrictions) under the WELL Building Standard.

Plus, it contains scrub, scuff and stain resistant technology, too, making it repeatedly cleanable – ideal for high traffic areas.
