Safety Fabrications' specialisation lies in producing structural anchor posts or anchor devices compliant with BS 8610:2017. These posts, commonly referred to as fall protection posts, are designed for various applications, including cable-based fall protection systems meeting EN 795 Class C standards, rail-based fall protection systems meeting EN 795 Class D standards, and abseil access points conforming to BS 8610:2017.

The Ascent™ Anchor system undergoes rigorous design and testing for installation on reinforced concrete surfaces. Additionally, where appropriate fixing backgrounds are available, it can also be mounted on structural steelwork, making it suitable for use with slate or tiled roofs. This versatile anchor device is offered in four sizes - 200mm, 400mm, 600mm, and 800mm - accommodating various roof and insulation build-ups.

Crafted from Galvanised Mild Steel, Ascent™ Fall Protection Posts are rigorously tested and typically supplied as separate Anchor Devices and Anchor Points by specialist installers. These posts are integral components of fall protection or abseil systems, necessitating consideration for future inspection protocols under BS 7883:2019.
