The Ascent Aluminium Walkway system is specifically engineered as an open grating walkway solution, offering a secure, non-slip surface for walking while providing protection for standing seam, metal profile, and flat/single ply membrane roofs. This versatile walkway can be adjusted to accommodate various roof slopes, whether levelled or stepped, as needed. Additionally, guardrails can be installed on one or both sides for enhanced safety.

‣ Designed in collaboration with roof sheet manufacturers, the Ascent Aluminium Roof Walkways prevent damage to roof coverings caused by regular foot traffic.

‣ The Ascent Aluminium Walkway System offers versatility: it can be laid to accommodate roof falls (up to 3 degrees per BS EN 516), levelled across the roof slope, or stepped up the roof slope. Handrails can be installed on one or both sides, meeting required safety standards without additional bracing. This allows placement near the roof edge, adjacent to gutters, solar panels, etc., enabling safe and convenient hands-on access. Supplied in component form, the walkway system facilitates easy on-site installation.
