Althon's bespoke trash screen was designed alongside the Hartlebury Castle Preservation Trust, to replace a degrading trash screen that was starting to collapse.

The trash screen was in an area that was difficult to reach, which meant that the design of the existing trash screen needed to be upgraded to offer minimal maintenance and a reduced risk of debris becoming building up. Althon trash screens are designed to reduce the amount of trash, litter and natural debris entering pipework and culverts whilst preventing unauthorised access and blockages.

Althon worked with the customer and their contractor to come up with a bespoke sloped trash screen with sides to both prevent access and allow raking to clear the grate, if required.
