Type of works: supply of Italia-100 steel louvred fencing

The Sports Centre at Chelmsford has been transformed into a major venue for athletics and a permanent home for Chelmsford City FC.

The final phase of this significant investment included the improvement of the boundary fencing.

Lang+Fulton was asked to supply 1600mm high Italia-100 fencing to meet the architect's brief for a durable, cost-effective solution which would provide 100% visual screening.

The powder-coated fencing was mounted on a 850mm brick wall so that fans would be unable to watch matches without purchasing tickets.

The Club has reported that it is delighted with the result.
