Copper House, a premium Build-to-Rent (BTR) development in Liverpool, was designed to provide a modern, community-centric living environment with state-of-the-art amenities. Recognising the growing trend in online shopping and the subsequent rise in parcel deliveries, the original design of Copper House’s mail and parcel system included space for future expansion. Now fully occupied, the site has experienced increased demand for secure parcel storage, prompting the installation of additional parcel locker units.

The Challenge:
As Copper House reached full occupancy, the volume of parcel deliveries exceeded the capacity of the original parcel locker system. This created logistical challenges for managing deliveries and ensuring resident convenience. The client required a seamless solution that would:

• Integrate with the existing parcel system.
• Accommodate the growing demand for secure storage.
• Maintain the high standards of service expected by residents.
Additionally, the solution needed to align with the site's forward-thinking approach to building management.

The Solution:
To address the growing demand for parcel storage, The Safety Letterbox Company collaborated closely with APO and the Copper House building management team to expand the existing myRENZbox parcel system. Originally installed in 2021, the system was designed with scalability in mind, including dedicated space for future expansion. Leveraging this foresight, they designed and installed additional parcel locker modules that seamlessly integrated with the original setup, both in terms of functionality and aesthetic consistency.

Their approach ensured the upgraded system was not only practical but also fully aligned with the site's operational requirements and design ethos. Key steps included:
