The uplifting power of colour is at the very core of the Dulux Trade brand, and so the team were thrilled to spread some positivity on the Nile Ward at St Charles Hospital (as part of the Nightingale Project).
In collaboration with Kevin Brennan of BRINKWORTH DESIGN, the redesign utilised seven key colours in different combinations to make the space feel less institutional and more welcoming and smile-inducing.
The perfect paint was chosen, too. Mixed and supplied by Dulux Decorator Centre Staples Corner, Dulux Trade Scuffshield offered:
✔️ Scuff-resistant technology, keeping walls looking fresh even in high footfall areas.
✔️ Great stain resistance.
✔️ Cleanable matt finish.
The redecoration of the Caspian Ward at Park Royal Mental Health Centre is a continuation of Dulux Trade’s work with the Nightingale Project and its mission to make NHS hospitals and care centres more therapeutic through design.
