Aliva UK is delighted to be shortlisted in the prestigious London Build Expo’s London Construction Awards 2024.
Its signature A1 EWI brick slip system on Unite Students’ Morriss House development in Nottingham has helped secure a shortlisting for this flagship sustainable build in the Residential Project of the Year category.
Aliva is thrilled with this shortlisting news for a project that includes a suite of sharp features - acute and obtuse angled brick slips, corbel detailing and stone rainscreen cladding.
This stunning student accommodation features over 8,000sqm of red and buff clay slips and several hundred sqm of Aliva’s ALI-Stone 3, 30mm natural stone rainscreen cladding system.
It’s super shortlisting news that pays testimony to strong partnership working on this project with main contractor RG Group, architect Hadfield Cawkwell Davidson and installer Stoneguard.
Aliva’s MD James Ormerod said: “This is a flagship sustainable build for Unite Students. Our EWI brick slip system has contributed to the thermal efficiency of the building, as well as creating a statement aesthetic with acute and obtuse angles alongside the corbel detailing. We’re thrilled to receive this shortlisting news and look forward to the ceremony in September.”
The winner will be announced on 27 September in London.
