The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) released an article last month which provides new guidance to construction clients to help them to drive up standards, collaboration, innovation and value.

Clients in construction have the opportunity to solve some of the biggest economic, ethical and ecological problems we face today. However, it is not uncommon for clients, particularly end user clients, to have little to no professional training or past experience of the construction process. This prompted CIOB to create a brand-new online resources hub using Barbour ABI’s comprehensive data.

The hub can be used by both homeowners and professional clients to help them achieve better project outcomes and deliver greater value.
