Client: North Kent Police
Architect: Glenn Howells Architects
Type of works: supply of Italia-100 steel louvred cladding panels and support steelwork for the generator housing
North Kent Police HQ is a four-storey landmark building of 11,500m2.
Lang+Fulton supplied the steel louvred cladding panels and support steelwork for the generator housing. The panels were made from Italia-100 which is an extremely robust material, providing 100% visusal screening and a high level of security.
Glenn Howells Architects were responsible for developing the building concept which features a number of green technologies including solar shading to the south facade which is provided by means of brise soleil.
The generator housing perfectly complements the overall architectural design.
Italia-100 was also used for the inner perimeter fencing.
