The aim of the Cork Airport project was to help create an aesthetically pleasing environment with calming acoustics, which was made possible thanks to Soundtects Freestyle rafts.

Soundtect used Freestyle for the open grid suspended ceiling rafts, as they provide the perfect sound absorption and are very aesthetically pleasing, making for a perfect VIP Airport lounge and somewhere to relax and work.

The acoustic Freestyle rafts which, following the project we named "Kork" in homage to the scheme, are not only beautiful additions to the ceiling but have given the space a calm and peaceful feel, just what is needed before a long flight.
