Reynaers Aluminium has announced that it will be delivering three new RIBA-certified CPD seminars. ‘Continuing Professional Development’ (CPD) courses are mandatory for all RIBA chartered members as it enables architects to gain new skills and stay up to date on industry developments.

Adding to its growing portfolio of CPD courses, Reynaers will now offer RIBA approved expertise on ‘Specifying Aluminium Sliding Doors’, ’Acoustic aluminium glazing solutions for city dwellings’, and ‘Aluminium windows for optimal natural ventilation.’

‘Specifying Aluminium Sliding Doors’ introduces the main options available to architects when considering aluminium sliding doors while exploring their benefits and giving an overview of design considerations. Meanwhile, ‘Acoustic aluminium glazing solutions for city dwellings’ teaches the benefits of using aluminium glazing solutions in acoustic building design and introduces the key features of acoustic glazing. Thirdly, ‘Aluminium windows for optimal natural ventilation’ reviews ventilation strategies for buildings and the benefits of natural ventilation at a time where air quality considerations are at an all-time high.

Reynaers has ensured ease and accessibility by providing its seminars either virtually, in-person at its Birmingham-based ‘Knowledge Centre’, or at its clients’ own premises. Reynaers is also able to tailor CPD content to meet specific client requirements.

The RIBA CPD Providers Network consists of manufacturers and suppliers who provide RIBA-approved CPD material to architects and specifiers. This material, which has been rigorously assessed, gives building manufacturers the opportunity to provide education regarding their products to architects, many of whom, go on to specify those products.
