Stone.covering

Aliva UK

Stone rainscreen cladding represents the very best of classical British architecture, reflected in the nation’s most historic buildings, but also in modern construction, where it is a natural solution for a high-end, elegant finish.

Our A1 fire rated Stone.covering is a natural choice for contemporary buildings that are required to harmonise with their surroundings in conservation areas, alongside city heritage architecture/public realm areas with traditional stone-built structures for example.

A building finished with stone cladding has a natural elegance, sophisticated and timeless quality.

We work with key quarries around the world to source a huge range of limestone, sandstone and granite for our stone cladding. Our range was created to ensure your building has a beautiful finish without sacrificing safety, ease of installation and water permeability.

Lightweight and non-loadbearing, our large format stone cladding offers all the aesthetic benefits of a traditional handset, but without the weight.

With land prices at a premium, modern building projects are reaching dizzying new heights. It is no longer possible to use stone slabs weighing in at well over a tonne per square metre.

Modern lightweight steel frames, SFS type walling systems and CDM lifting regulations all further restrict the use of traditional stone, which is why our Stone.covering system offers an optimum solution for projects with this aesthetic requirement.
