The Client:
Companies House is the British Government’s executive department that maintains the company register, employs company registrars, and is in responsible for incorporating all forms of companies in the UK.

Originally formed in 1844, their address in Cardiff is the main location for the UK’s register of companies.

The Requirement:
The client required access in the plant room of the Companies House building to undertake planned preventative maintenance activities.

The Solution:
Safety Fabrications recommended the fixed Ascent™ Ladder With Platform.

One of our installer partners, PTSG Access & Safety, was contracted to complete the installation of 3 Ascent™ ladders with platforms at the head.

Ascent™ Ladder With Platform is designed in accordance with BS EN 14122-4:2016 and can be detailed to suit a wide range of building types.

Where heights exceed 10m intermediate rest platforms can be added and other safety features introduced to meet site conditions, such as Anti-Climb covers, self-closing gates, and ladder-up posts.

The Ascent™ Ladder was installed by the PTSG Access & Safety in accordance with the provided comprehensive install guidelines.
