Industrial units benefit from a facelift using total coatings solutions from PPG’s Protective Coatings range and Johnstone’s Trade products, together providing the perfect combination for this renovation. Working with products that provided high performance and durability was of paramount importance Advanced Coatings Systems who completed the facelift.

Through-out all the floors within the units, PPG EP002 was first applied, the solvent free impregnating epoxy primer helped create the suitable key for the application of 2 coats of PPG EP301, a FeRFA Type 3 flooring product. The solvent free, high build epoxy floor coating was chosen for it’s all round performance of being durable and tough and its ability to withstand a range of traffic including medium-duty fork lift truck traffic. PPG’s EP301 provides the ultimate protection required to withstand the environmental conditions in these area types.

Additionally to complete the refurbishment and to ensure a long-lasting finish, the internal walls were finished in Johnstone’s Trade Acrylic Durable Matt to combat the high-traffic the units are subjected too, its Class 1 of ISO 11998 for scrub resistance made it the perfect choice.

The final element of the refurbishment involved applying Johnstone’s Steel and Cladding Semi-Gloss Coating to the interior steelwork which provides long lasting protection against corrosion.

Now completely refurbed thanks to the expert solutions offered by PPG and Johnstone’s Trade the industrial units are ready for their new tenants who can be assured the surfaces will have a long-lasting, durable finish that can be easily maintained.
