This presentation reviews composite floor components and summarises the latest guidance for design to EC4. It also highlights NCCI guidance associated with arrangements generally adopted in the UK. It then uses a detailed worked example to walk the Designer through the EC4 design process, including a comparison of the single stud/multiple studs per rib arrangements to highlight how each should be considered.
