DRAINFIX BLOC HD is designed for high load bearing capacity and durability. It offers a standard load capacity of 400 kN / m2, which is sufficient for most situations, whether pedestrian or trafficked. This is in combination with a 95.8% void ratio, which allows for a large storage capacity of 383.2 litres[JS1.1]. It is also compatible with both permeable (infiltration) and sealed (attenuation) system design and is even suitable for installation in areas with a high water table[JS2.1], making it a versatile choice for the designer’s toolkit.

Speed: Optimised design and easy installation

DRAINFIX BLOC HD offers benefits to both specifiers and contractors with its unique dual-crate system. Components are optimised for their positioning within the attenuation provision: closed crates create an outer ring and instant boundary for a structure, which can then be infilled with open-sided crates. This intuitive design reduces installation time, confusion and opportunities for missed steps that can impact performance in use. It can also be expanded easily in all directions to meet increasing storage volume requirements.

Sustainability: Increasing the eco credentials of your projects

100% recycled polypropylene – DRAINFIX BLOC HD is produced from a variety of post-consumer polypropylene products. The crates are also PVC free and can be fully recycled following lifetime use
