The HICAP® slot drainage system allows specifiers and contractors flexibility in design and installation, potentially reducing the number of channel runs normally required to drain a given area. This reduction means less underground excavations, materials and vastly reduced installation time. As there are fewer runs required, the surfaces strength is not compromised whilst maintenance and cleaning are also reduced. Whats more, all but the largest sizes weigh less than 25kg so reducing the need for mechanical handling. To further reduce hassle on-site, end-of-run caps and pipe connection sockets are supplied with other connection points moulded into the sides and/or bottom of each channel.
The different sizes offered are designed to easily link up with each other in a step-fall design, so as the volume of water increases downstream the chance of overflow is virtually eliminated.
A large selection of nominal widths from 100 to 680 mm for effective drainage solutions for all loading classes and all common road surface finishes cost savings in the overall drainage installation costs less manholes and outlets provides a uniform visual appearance also in large projects suitable for small and large areas.
For building contractors:
Quick and easy to install, no breakags on site, no separate gratings, products up to 300 conform to Health and Safety one, man lift requirement,
No expensive pipe installations required, highly efficient solution, easy to maintain, the top inlet element matches all types, of surface finishes
Unique slot design made from high-quality ductile GGG-50 complete range of models for all areas of application. Two different tops for different drainage levels available in lengths of one metre for fast and easy installation three slot models: type Pedestrian with longitudinal web, type Traffic with cross web and type Industrial with large intake cross-section.
Five different nominal widths, each element with integral tongue and groove joint, easy to install and level, in order to avoid dirt entering the channels, the inlet slots come with a protective tape which is easy to pull off on completion hydraulic calculation program and individual design support.
