Products from Johnstone’s Trade have helped a Gateshead-based decorating contractor create a lasting impression on patients at a state-of-the-art, 24-bed dementia unit in Sunderland.

Johnstone’s Covaplus Vinyl Matt, Premium Contract Matt and Acrylic Eggshell were used on corridors, offices, washrooms, stairwells, lounges, dining areas and doors throughout the unit, all of which now boast bold, fresh looks.

The unit also has bespoke digitally created wallpapers supplied by Johnstone's Trade which include images of an early Sunderland map and the Sunderland seafront.

W D Davison and Sons were recognised for their decorating work at the hospital at the prestigious 2013 Johnstone’s Painter of the Year Awards, claiming the top prize in the Health and Education category.
