Keraflex Extra S1 Zero joins Mapei Zero Line

Keraflex Extra S1 Zero joins Mapei Zero Line

Mapei UK has further extended its Zero line with the addition of Keraflex Extra S1 Zero. The high performance, flexible cementitious adhesive - now with CO2 fully offset in the entire life cycle - also benefits from a very low VOC EMICODE: EC1 Plus certified formulation, providing a safe, high-performance solution for installers.

Suitable for all tile types – including ceramic, porcelain, moisture-stable natural stone and mosaics – Keraflex Extra S1 Zero is a highly versatile adhesive suitable for internal and external walls and floors. The formulation provides many benefits to the installer, including no vertical slip, high wetting capacity and an extended open time of approx. 30 minutes; it can be used either in a fluid consistency for large-format floor tiles, or as a thixotropic paste on walls and facades. It’s also suitable for areas that are constantly immersed such as inside swimming pools, and for overlaying old floors with new tiles.

After installation with Keraflex Extra S1 Zero, tiles are set to light foot traffic and can be grouted after approx. 24 hours and surfaces, are ready to use after approx. 14 days.
