Mapei UK have partnered with Macmillan Cancer Support as their charity of the year for 2016/ 17, setting the ambitious target of raising at least £10,000 for the renowned charity over the next twelve months.

Mapei UK have committed to running a combination of company-wide fund-raising events, such as a Coffee Morning event later in September alongside other smaller initiatives.

This initiative forms part of Mapei UK’s Corporate Social Responsibility commitments, with Phil Breakspear, Managing Director of Mapei UK, commenting that “Mapei strongly believes in delivering a positive social impact within the local community and is extremely proud to be sponsoring Macmillan and the important work they do.”

Emily Morgan (Fundraising Manager at Macmillan) commented that “We are delighted to be working with Mapei to support their fundraising for Macmillan. They’ve got some great ideas to raise money and we are looking forward to working with all the staff so they can join in with the activities.”
