PPG’s Coating Solutions have been used to refurbish a number of units at the Planetry Industrial Estate in Coventry. PPG provided resin flooring and other coating products to provide the long term protection and durability needed for this renovation project. The refurbishment was undertaken by Industrial Painting Contractors.

For the flooring element of the project 2 coats of PPG EP301 were applied to the prepared concrete floor. PPG EP301 is a FeRFA Type 3 High Build Epoxy Floor Coating. It is ideal for use medium duty areas like industrial units that need to have a floor system installed that will withstand regular foot and medium-duty fork lift truck traffic.
