Stonecutter Court is to be redeveloped into a ,highly amenitised, user experience-driven office building. Leveraging today’s global best practices to deliver a truly tenant-centric design. The building is being designed to support a hybrid workforce and provide flexibility driven spaces, accounting for the evolving needs of prominent occupiers. It will incorporate the very latest health and wellness features and building systems.
The office building has a large three-storey basement area and Wykamol, alongside Registered installer Rascor waterproofing, have been chosen to carry out the designs and waterproofing of this 9000m2 space.
Wykamol's cavity drain membrane systems are being installed under supervision of the Wykamol team and although the building is not due to complete until 2025 the waterproofing works will be finished by July /august of this year.
8mm wall membranes and 20 mm floor membranes are being applied linking in with a perimeter channel system linked to multiple drainage points draining down to the plant area on basement level 3.
Working on projects like these the technical team at Wykamol are experienced in projects like these, after working on some of the largest basements in the UK.
Care is being taken to ensure that the drainage points and all surfaces are treated with a Anti lime sealant to inhibit leaching of any lime into the drainage system a crucial part of the system.
The space that will be created underground is amazing and will be very dry with the Rascor white tank system and Wykamol type c waterproofing system.
