Structural Waterproofing
Mapei (UK)
Mapeproof HW
High performance waterproofing bentonite sheet on underground structures.
WHERE TO USE
Waterproofing concrete below ground level. Some typical application examples Waterproofing horizontal and vertical concrete structures in underground environments, such as below slabs, on retaining walls, on bulkheads and berlinese coverings, such as underground car parks, basements, swimming pools, underpasses basements, etc.
Mapeproof FBT
Synthetic fully-bonded FPO waterproof sheet membrane, laminated with non-woven fabric for waterproofing underground structures.
WHERE TO USE
Waterproofing horizontal and vertical surfaces of underground structures before pouring concrete such as: • carparks and garages; • underground areas in general; • swimming pools, basins and storage tanks; • underpasses. Mapeproof FBT may be applied underneath foundation slabs and against diaphragms, pile walls, sheet piling and other retaining structures for excavation work.
Mapethene EQ
Self-adhesive bituminous membrane for waterproofing structures below ground level.
WHERE TO USE
Mapethene EQ is a self-adhesive bituminous membrane made from a mixture of bitumen and special polymers bonded to a film of high density polyethylene (HDPE). Mapethene EQ is used to waterproof vertical and horizontal surfaces, foundation slabs, foundations, under-ground garages and cellar walls. As well as all known and suitable mineral substrates.
Mapethene LT
Self-adhesive bitumen waterproofing membrane for underground structures suitable for application at temperatures down to -5°C.
WHERE TO USE
Mapethene LT is a self-adhesive bitumen membrane made from a mixture of bitumen and special polymers bonded to a double laminated film of high density polyethylene (HDPE). Mapethene LT is used to waterproof the outside of concrete, brick and block-built foundations, cellars and underground garages.
