The Challenge:
Traditionally, maintenance routes spanned the main terminal's roof. However, new retail unit installations required additional piping, obstructing the access route. This necessitated a step-over unit for safe maintenance access.

The Solution:
The Ascent™ Up & Over Step Unit provided the ideal solution with its open grillage, offering a free-draining, anti-slip walking surface. The unit featured guardrails on both sides for user safety and adjustable support feet for on-site levelling. This ensured the roof’s waterproof integrity remained intact without penetration. Delivered flat-packed with detailed installation instructions, the unit was designed according to BS EN ISO 14122-1 & 3:2016 and manufactured in Sheffield in compliance with BS EN 1090 CE standards, guaranteeing quality and safety.
