A prestigious new build property constructed in Surrey required a waterproofing system to protect its basement from water ingress.

The system needed to be reliable and meet the BS8102 requirements (The British Standard for the Protection of Structures Against Water from the Ground).

Newton Specialist Basement Contractor MaclennanUK were instructed to design a Cavity Drain waterproofing System, and chose Newton System 500 for its maintainable properties, thus complying with the BS8102.

Newton 508 Cavity Drain Membrane was used on the internal walls. A basedrain was fitted to collect any ingressing water into the basedrain channels and safely pumped out using the Newton Titan Pro Pumping system.
