Hawick, the largest town in the Scottish Borders, is well-known for its high-quality knitwear. Situated on the banks of the River Teviot, the town includes an Aldi supermarket as one of its key amenities. Over the past decade, Aldi has quickly grown to become one of the UK's leading supermarket chains.
The Challenge:
A companionway ladder was needed to facilitate regular maintenance access to the air-handling units installed atop the internal cold storage units at the back of the store.
Due to space constraints in the back of house area, a traditional stair installation was not feasible.
The Solution:
TheAscent™ Aluminium Companionway Ladder provided an ideal solution, featuring treads instead of rungs for easier and safer frequent access.
Designed to occupy minimal space with a 70-degree incline, Ascent™ Companionway Ladders adhere to BS EN 14122-4 recommendations and are manufactured in their Sheffield facility to the BS EN 1090 CE manufacturing standard, ensuring high quality and safety.
